报告摘要：
The notion of Mathieu subspaces was introduced by the speaker in 2009, which can be viewed as a natural but highly non-trivial generalization of the notion of ideals of associative algebras. In this talk we will discuss the definition, motivations and some recent developments of Mathieu subspaces. Furthermore, some open problems on Mathieu subspaces, especially, the connections of Mathieu subspaces with the famous Jacobian conjecture, will also be discussed. The talk will be introductory and accessible to the general audience.
报告人简介：
赵文华现任美国伊利诺伊州立大学教授，是仿射代数几何领域的知名专家，研究领域也涉及共形场论、无限维李代数、顶点算子代数等。他在二维共形场论、非交换对称函数、微分算子、MZ子空间理论（一种弱理想理论）等方面取得的了具有国际影响的学术成果, 在Adv. Math., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., Israel J. Math., J. Algebra等期刊发表论文30余篇。
